2024: the education-student debut

On 12 November 2024 Itoi posted that she would make her exclusive debut from S1 under the name 糸井瑠花. Her profile dates the start to 10 December 2024. FANZA’s release post for the debut title, 時代は賢くてエロい娘!若くて綺麗なカラダの教育実習生!糸井瑠花AVデビュー, describes a 22-year-old current university student in an education faculty who was in a teaching practicum. That is a studio marketing frame, not an independently checked school record.

The older page said she entered “for the short term” after giving up a plan to teach. That wording comes from a Japanese Wikipedia summary of an interview this revision could not open, so it is not repeated as fact.

2025: the kawaii* transfer title

On 3 November 2025 the official kawaii* account announced a title explicitly labeled as her kawaii* transfer and first nakadashi-allowed release. The studio’s own title page gives the DVD date as 2 December 2025. That supports a transfer around the end of 2025. It does not support a count of S1 titles, or a claim that exclusivity ended in a particular November release, unless those release lists are checked one by one.

2026: non-exclusive, not a shoot-count claim

On 17 February 2026 Itoi posted that she had become a planning-single actress (企画単体女優), that exclusive titles would end with the late-January release, and that this was the start of a second chapter. That is the checkable contract change. It is not evidence for “8–10 shoots a month,” “about 45 titles,” or a fixed roster of SOD, Fitch, Deep’s, Momotaro and Crystal Eizo. Those figures are removed.

A Weekly Playboy naming as a “next-generation dirty-talk” or “new-generation squirting” actress is also removed. This revision did not find a checkable issue citation for it.

Now

As of 2 October 2026 she was still posting, and an Esflirt-branded public event listing booked her for 3 October 2026 at Lammtarra Epikari Akiba. Active here means publicly scheduled, not a statement about any remaining exclusive contract.

What this career shows

The useful part of the page is the shape of the arc, not a volume ranking. An S1 exclusive announcement, a kawaii* transfer title about a year later, and a performer-announced move to non-exclusive work in February 2026 is a short, sourced timeline. Counts and magazine nicknames can be added back only with a checkable source.

Frequently asked questions

When did Ruka Itoi debut in AV?

Her own account dates the start to 10 December 2024. On 12 November 2024 she posted that she would debut as an S1 exclusive under the name Ruka Itoi. The debut title marketed by FANZA is built around a current education student in a teaching practicum.

Why did she enter the industry?

The checkable studio promotion says she was a current university student in an education faculty, doing a teaching practicum, and that she came because she liked AV. A separate claim that she intended the work only for the short term is not repeated here, because this page could not open the interview it is usually taken from.

Which studios has she worked for?

She announced an S1 exclusive debut, kawaii* later announced a transfer title with a 2 December 2025 DVD date, and on 17 February 2026 she said her exclusive releases would end with the late-January title and that she had become a non-exclusive planning actress. This page does not list a complete studio roster or a title count.

What makes her notable?

The documented arc is the speed of the contract change: exclusive debut, a transfer title about a year later, then a performer-announced move to non-exclusive work. Named magazine rankings are omitted unless a checkable issue citation is added.

What AV does Ruka Itoi appear in?

The sourced releases are the December 2024 S1 debut title and the kawaii* transfer title released on DVD on 2 December 2025. Later non-exclusive releases exist, but this page does not turn retailer catalogs into a career total.

Is she still active?

As of 2 October 2026, yes in the narrow sense that she was still booked for a public Esflirt event on 3 October 2026 and was still posting. That is an as-of observation, not a contract status.
