Privacy Policy
What this site collects, what it stores in your browser, and how to switch any of it off.

The short version
CHONMAGE does not ask you for a name, an email address or a payment detail, and has no login. We collect anonymous traffic statistics, and we store two small flags in your own browser so the site stops asking you the same question twice. That's it.
Analytics
We use Google Analytics 4 to see which guides get read and where
readers arrive from. It sets cookies (names beginning _ga) and collects:
- Pages viewed, and how long you stayed on them
- Referring site or search engine that sent you here
- Approximate location derived from IP address, at city level at best
- Device type, browser and operating system
- An anonymous event when an affiliate link is clicked — which offer and where on the page it was, never who clicked it
None of this identifies you personally, and we never attempt to connect it to a real person. Google anonymises IP addresses for GA4 by default.
The analytics tag only runs on en.chon-mage.com. On local copies, forks and
preview builds, no request is made to Google and no cookie is set.
How to opt out
- Install the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on , which blocks it on every site you visit.
- Block or delete cookies for this site in your browser settings.
- Use your browser's private/incognito mode, or any content blocker.

What we store in your browser
Two flags, both created by this site and readable only by this site. Neither is sent to us or to anyone else — they exist purely so the page can remember a choice you already made.

Clearing your browser storage for this site removes both. The site keeps working; it will simply ask again.
Affiliate links
Some links here are affiliate links, marked “Sponsored” before the link. If you follow one and go on to book or buy, the operator may pay us a commission at no extra cost to you. We do not pass your identity, email address or any personal information to those operators — following the link is simply a normal visit to their site, and from that point their privacy policy applies, not ours. Third parties that see your request
- Cloudflare — hosts and serves this site, so it processes the request itself, including your IP address, as part of delivering the page.
- Google Fonts — the typefaces load from Google's servers, which means Google sees the request. No cookie is set by this.
- Google Analytics — as described above.
There are no advertising networks, no third-party ad cookies, no social media tracking pixels, no comment system and no newsletter on this site.
Age and audience
Parts of this site cover Japan's legal adult-entertainment industry and are written for readers aged 18 and over. It is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18.
Your rights
Because we hold no account, no contact details and nothing that identifies you, there is generally no personal data of yours for us to look up, export or delete. If you believe we hold something about you and want it removed, write to us and we will deal with it.
Changes
If what we collect ever changes, this page changes with it and the date at the top is updated. We will not start collecting more than this quietly.
